Subject to faculty availability, students can obtain ongoing advice on statistical aspects of their dissertation research or other projects by taking Biostatistics 250 - Research, for 1 to 8 units of credit. A faculty member will provide one-to-one guidance to help the student perform appropriate analyses, understand the results, and accurately write up the methods, findings and interpretations. Biostatistics 250 is intended for research that involves topics not covered in regular courses and not appropriate for biostatistical consulting.
