Emotions underlie much of human behavior and thought and are the basis for mood disorders.  However, it is exceedingly difficult to objectively quantify brain activity as it relates to instances of emotional affect.  We propose to study this question by observing naturalistic behavior as recorded continuously by a video stream and concurrent intracranial Electrocorticography. (ECoG) data.
