Modifiable risk factors may be leveraged to improve patient outcomes following a prostate cancer diagnosis, yet our understanding of which behaviors to modify is limited by prior examinations of isolated risk factors. This dissertation talk will:
- review the post-diagnostic evidence-based risk factors for prostate cancer progression and mortality,
- examine the combined impact of tese modifiable factors on risk of progression and mortality, and
- examine the role of the insulin and inflammatory pathways on prostate cancer survivorship
