In this introductory session we will outline the importance of developing rigorous sampling methods that meet the needs of your target population. Attendees will leave with an understanding of sampling methods beyond convenience sampling methods, associated assumptions, and an overview of approaches to use when such assumptions are not met. This is the first of four sessions on sampling methods for hard-to-reach populations in the second Sampling Knowledge Hub module. It is suitable for all knowledge levels.
