Speaker: Cathy Shyr, PhD, Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics, Pediatrics and Biostatistics, Vanderbilt University
In this talk, I will discuss the development and implementation of AI and statistical machine learning methods for rare disease diagnosis at the Undiagnosed Diseases Network (UDN). I will describe how AI systems, such as large language models, were integrated into a scalable framework to support real-world clinical workflows at the UDN. In addition, I will introduce a statistical framework for assessing the reproducibility of large language models to support their reliable clinical deployment.
