Dr. Christine Dehlendorf, professor and vice chair for research in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, has been honored for her leadership in promoting equitable, evidence-based reproductive health care. As founder and director of the Person-Centered Reproductive Health Program, she has developed innovative tools—including an online contraceptive decision aid and the first patient-reported outcome measure for contraceptive care—to elevate patient dignity and autonomy. Her work has shaped national policy and informed organizations such as the CDC, the U.S. Office of Population Affairs, and the National Academies.
Dr. Dehlendorf is graduate of the MS in Clinical Research and holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics.
