In this talk, Margot Kushel, MD will discuss the aging of the homeless population, a demographic shift with important clinical and policy implications.  She will address the causes, consequences and potential solutions to this crisis.

Margot Kushel, MDSpeaker: Margot Kushel, MD, Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, Director of the UCSF Center for Vulnerable Populations & Director of the UCSF Benioff Homelessness and Housing Initiative. Kushel's research focuses on reducing the burden of homelessness on health through examining efforts to prevent and end homelessness and mitigating the effects of housing instability on health care outcomes.
