Moving from Efforts at Inclusion to Better Science

In this talk, Dr. Rivers will speak about efforts to help diversify the biomedical research workforce. The presentation and question-and-answer session will focus on the NIH Research Supplements to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research and the supplements to Promote Re-Entry into Biomedical and Behavioral Research Careers. In addition to speaking about these two critical supplement programs, Dr. Rivers will present other funding opportunities to help expand the research workforce.
